Purpose Statement

As the psalmist said in Psalm 95, “O Come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise
to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a
joyful noise unto him with psalms,” our purpose as a choir at SRBC is to do the following:

According to the Word of God, we as a choir are to bring pleasure to God by singing about the greatness of who He is and what He has done out of a joyful heart. We are told to teach the word and encourage the local church in the work of God by making a joyful noise unto the LORD and improving our ability to sing praises to Him.
